DESCRIPTION:Come and enjoy a relaxed Porin päivä surrounded by art at Kaupunkiolohuone on the 2nd floor of the IsoKarhu shopping centre! The event is being held as part of the programme for the ‘Heaven on Earth’ exhibition.\n\nThe day’s programme features an informal Artist Talk by visual artist Elli Maanpää\, where we’ll chat about art whilst enjoying a relaxed DIY workshop.\n\nBring a small item from home – such as a mobile phone case\, an old cap\, a canvas bag\, a stone\, a denim jacket or trainers – and come and give it a new lease of life!\n\nAcrylic paints will be provided on the day\, which adhere to almost any surface (such as fabric\, plastic\, leather\, wood and ceramics).\n\n• Age restriction: Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.\n• Please note: Please bring only one small item\, which you’ll take home with you.\n\nThe event has been supported by the Satakunta Fund of the Finnish Cultural Foundation.
