Porin Päivä 2026 programme

So far 53 different programme events have been published and 33 different organisers. Programme details will be updated 1–20 Sep 2026.

All events in chronological order

The ‘Fading Colours’ exhibition

Venue: Itä-Porin lähipalvelukeskus·Address: Herralahdenraitti 2·Organiser: Lastenkulttuurikeskus Kruunupää

Exploring the colours and materials in The Experiential Colour Workshop for Babies is exciting. How do you make paint that pleases the eye, the fingers and the surface being painted? The question is whether the paint retains its colour, fades or even changes completely. On display are works from The Experiential Colour Workshop for Babies workshops for babies aged 4–11 months, as well as trays created from these works, on which the colour tones have been preserved exactly as they were immediately after completion. Admission to the exhibition is free on weekdays during the health centre’s opening hours, and it is organised by the Kruunupää Centre for Children’s Culture.

Lúna – The Beauty Show

Venue: Kehräämö·Address: Pohjoisranta 11·Organiser: Rakastajat-teatteri

An offbeat comedy by a successful Icelandic author in the Rakastajat Theatre in Pori! Lúna is a sharp, funny, and deeply human portrayal of the lengths we are willing to go to in order to hold onto what we fear we have already lost. Ingi and Lúna’s relationship has fallen apart, yet they are spending Christmas Eve together one last time. Unspoken tensions simmer beneath the surface. When Heiðar—a former beauty pageant guru and an enigmatic prisoner of his own past—appears on the scene, the evening takes an irreversible turn.

English subtitles provided!
